Helping Visit Novato turn authentic voices into amplified tourism success

Visit Novato is Novato’s tourism program, designed to drive overnight hotel stays and showcase the city as a hidden gem destination. With hotel bookings directly fueling tourism revenue, the goal was simple: more “heads in beds.”

The Challenge

While Visit Novato had built a strong foundation in paid media, creative, and organic social, its social channels lacked the authenticity and word-of-mouth power needed to break through to a broader audience. To grow reach and inspire travelers to choose Novato, the brand needed trusted voices who could tell Novato’s story in a way that felt real and relatable.

The Insight

Travel inspiration is most powerful when it comes from fellow explorers. By partnering with Bay Area creators whose audiences are actively seeking new adventures, Visit Novato could showcase its boutique hotels, outdoor adventures, craft breweries, and family-friendly dining through genuine, first-person experiences. Influencer marketing would allow Novato’s charm to be discovered not through ads, but through stories travelers wanted to share and replicate.

The Solution

Kiosk designed and executed Visit Novato’s first influencer marketing program from the ground up, designed to bring authentic voices and fresh storytelling to the brand’s Instagram and TikTok channels. By identifying and contracting three Bay Area travel creators, we curated personalized itineraries that highlighted Novato’s hotels, outdoor adventures, and dining experiences, as well as tasting rooms and taprooms. Each influencer produced Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Stories, which Kiosk reviewed for brand accuracy before publication and then amplified through paid campaigns using secured usage rights. This integrated approach combined authentic influencer content with targeted paid amplification, delivering both credibility and measurable growth for Visit Novato.

The Results

The result was authentic, influencer-driven storytelling, amplified by paid campaigns that converted curiosity into measurable growth. Between June and August 2025, the campaign drove major audience gains across Visit Novato’s social media platforms.
