Sonic

A Sonic Boom in the Heart of the Mission

Sonic, an Internet Service Provider based in San Francisco’s North Bay, stands out in an industry known for low consumer satisfaction by prioritizing customer service, net neutrality, and fast, affordable internet access.

To introduce Sonic to residents of San Francisco’s Mission District, the goal was to cut through the clutter and show that Sonic was genuinely excited to become part of the neighborhood’s vibrant community.

Kiosk transformed the Mission BART Station into a temporary art gallery, turning the train platforms into a visual celebration of the area’s rich Latino art heritage. Thirty illuminated alcoves were filled with bold, colorful posters, while the mezzanine level featured straightforward, informative ads highlighting Sonic’s service benefits.

Taking creative inspiration from the community itself, Sonic brought a little color to people’s commutes. For such a customer-friendly brand, this approach was the perfect introduction to a new market.
